Katrina Roaix

Full Stack Web Developer

About Me

My passion for coding began at a very young age. When I was 10 I was taught to build my very first computer. It was when I found my mom's HTML and CSS books that my curiosity was piqued.

After years of self-learning I went to Full Sail University for my Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Development where I graduated in 2016. Throughout my schooling I sought out as many opportunities as I could to learn more. I accepted jobs, and studied in my free time.

In 2015, I moved from CT to KY for a job opportunity with imavex, a web development and marketing company. At imavex I worked as a content specialist. Although my passion is for web development, this gave me valuable experience in my industry. Utilizing their in-house CMS, I assisted the project management team at imavex with content, migration, and creation/cleanup of written code.

I did a Freelance Web Development intensive bootcamp through Codecademy where I received a certificate in 2017. Today I am a student at Lambda School for Full Stack Web Development.
